The tables produced by Gammill are unmatched in the industry. Made in america by skilled metal workers, two varieties are available. For the Vision-2 18-8 Premier machine, the standard table is the "HomePro" table. All larger machines, the 22-10 Twenty-Two, 26-10 Classic and 30-12 Optimum come standard on the GS-6 Pivotal Access, Sit-or-Stand table frame. As an option, the 18-8 machine can be purchased with the heavier GS-6 table.

The Gammill Pivot-Access Sit-or-Stand Table
CONSTRUCTION

Both table styles have welded construction, are made of heavy gauge plate steel and box steel tubing. The rollers for the canvas leaders are of one-piece construction and are also made of steel. The entire table and all optional accessories are secured together with only eight bolts (Grade 2, minimum yield strength of 36,000 pounds). With this construction, you don't have to worry about things coming apart over time because of vibration or an overlooked fastener.

DIMENSIONS

The tables are actually a bit longer than their stated lengths, that takes into account the fasteners, take-up bar mechanism and on the GS6 table, the handwheels attached to the backing, quilt top and pick-up rollers.

The HomePro table measures about 4" more, and the GS6 table is about 8" longer than the stated length. In addition to the physical width of the table, you will need as a minimum 12-18" of free space on at least one end of the table in order to move around and get to the other side.

Recommended Floor Space Based on Table Lengths
6' 8' 10' 11' 12' 14'
HomePro 88-94 112-118" 136-142" 148-154" 160-166" N/A
GS-6 92-98" 116-122" 140-146" 152-158" 164-170" 188-194"

Measurements listed here are from front-to-back, with the machine head pushed all the way to the back of the table. You will need additional room to operate the machine from both the front and back. So, in general terms, the minimum space needed for a table requires about 18" more than the stated table length, and about 24-36" more than the distance shown in the table below. All-in-all, we recommend having a free space of 8' by 15' for a 12' table.
